National Car Test

Vehicle testing was introduced for private cars in 2000 and for small public service vehicles (taxi/hackneys) in 2001.

Private cars are liable for testing when they are four years old and every second year after that.

The N.C.T. fee for a private car is: €50.00

Re-test fee is: €28.00
