Network Services

The function of the Network Services section is to provide the timely and secure delivery of corporate groupware, software systems & telecommunications to approximately 400 computer and telephone users in City Hall and in fifteen other offices and depots around the city.

A key activity is the implementation, maintenance and upkeep of the integrated network. The system enables data and voice traffic be carried together on the network facilitating greater communication cost efficiencies, ultimately reflected in better customer service.
