It is the responsibility of the I.C.T. department to implement the Council's information and communication technology strategy having regard for the ever-changing requirements of the organisation and the need for quality service delivery.

This department plays a challenging role, providing solutions for the many specialist and diverse requirements of the Council. In addition to core service provision, the I.C.T. Department is responsible for protecting the organisation's existing I.T. assets by means of pro-active maintenance and reinvestment in up-to-date technologies.
